Niche Music Group founded Naked Voice Records as its initial label in 2004. Naked Voice Records provides world-wide digital distribution through all major providers, royalty payment and reporting for a cappella artists, and has now grown to represent over 500 artists in the a cappella world, including world-class ensembles such as the legendary Vocal Majority Chorus, doo-wop sensation The Alley Cats, Sweet Adelines International innovators Ambiance, and some of the country’s best high-school ensembles like Eleventh Hour. Naked Voice Records is the official producer and distributor of recordings of international quartet and chorus competitions for both The Barbershop Harmony Society and Sweet Adelines International.
Mid-States Four was organized by employees at the Bell & Howell Company. Marty Mendro, lead; Forrest Haynes, baritone; and Bob Corbett, bass and Bob Mack, Tenor. They chose their name because they were sponsored by the Mid States Insurance Company. More
