MORE OF THE DIFFERENT by Joker's Wild (320K AAC)

12.99

The third release by Joker's Wild features new lead singer, Jon Clunies, and more of that unique approach to the barbershop artform that helped them to win the international championship of Barbershop Harmony Society. New arrangements from David Wright: The Turtles' "Happy Together", Pete Seeger's "We Shall Overcome", the hymn which became the unofficial anthem of the civil rights movement of the 1960s, the Elvis Presley classic, "Love Me, Tender", and another new composition, "Sudden Love", which is the sequel to the Joker's Wild piece "Right From The Start She Had My Heart." Also included on this unusual release are the gospel classic "Operator", the Willie Nelson-penned "Crazy", performed at the original tempo Willie had in mind before Patsy Cline made it her own, and Ed Waesche's arrangement of "Wir Machen Musik", which the Jokers sing completely in German, thanks to the tutelage of their good friend and colleague, Tom Gentry.
